Tex-Mex Chicken Salad
Ingredients: ½ cup Light sour cream 2-Tbs Thick and chunky salsa 2 Tbs Original Savory Seasoning 1 ½ cups Chopped cooked chicken 1 cup Frozen corn-thawed ¼ cup Pitted sliced black olives-sliced 1-sleeve Savory Saltines (30-40 crackers) Directions: Mix sour cream, salsa and Savory Saltine Seasoning in a medium bowl. Add chicken, corn and olives; mix lightly. Cover and refrigerate until chilled. Serve with Savory Saltine Crackers. Tip: Purchased rotisserie chicken makes this chicken salad quick and easy.
Savory Chicken Salad
Ingredients: 1/2 cup Light sour cream 2-Tbs. Each of apricot preserves and fresh lemon juice 1-1/2 cup Chopped cooked chicken ½ cup Dried apricots-sliced 2 Fresh green onions 1 sleeve Savory Saltine Crackers (30-40 crackers)
Directions: Mix sour cream, preserves, and lemon juice in medium bowl. Add chicken, apricots and onions; mix lightly. Cover and refrigerate until chilled. Serve with Savory Saltine Crackers. Tip: Purchased rotisserie chicken makes this chicken salad quick and easy.
Savory Tomato & Broccoli Soup
Ingredients: 2 cans Low sodium chicken broth (14 ½ oz. each) 1 cup Tomato or V-8 juice 3 Tbs Savory Saltine Seasoning 12 oz. Fresh or frozen broccoli – chopped (thawed and drained if frozen) 1 cup Cooked rice Savory Saltine Crackers
Directions: Dissolve Savory Seasoning in a small amount of water. Mix broth, tomato/V-8 juice, broccoli and Savory Seasoning in a large saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer 5-minutes. Serve with rice and Savory Saltine Crackers. Suggestion: For a heartier serving, add some cooked chicken.
