Ingredients: 1 pkg. Savory Saltine Seasoning Mix 2 Tbs. Olive oil 1 Tbs. Water 1½-2 lbs. Beef flank steak, cut into ½” strips 3 cups Assorted red and green bell pepper, and onion strips 4-10 inch Flour tortillas, warmed Fillings: Chopped tomatoes, cheese, chopped onion and pico de gallo. Directions: Combine seasoning mix, oil and water. Sauté steak strips in mixture. Add peppers and onion. Cook until tender crisp. Fill tortillas with mixture and fillings. Serves 4.
Ingredients: 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts Chicken Broth 1 Package of Savory Saltine Seasoning (Original Flavor or Texas Chipotle for more spice) Instructions: In a crockpot, place chicken breasts in the bottom. Cover chicken with Savory Saltine Seasoning. Add enough Chicken Broth to cover chicken (1-2 cups). Cook on low for 4-6 hours, or high for 3-4 hours. Shred the chicken with a fork and serve with your favorite taco toppings. Options: Add chopped green chillis, chopped onion, corn, bell peppers or diced tomatoes for more flavor. Serve as soft or crunchy tacos. Add more chicken broth to recipe to make Taco Soup.
Mini-Saltines or Rounds 2 boxes of either mini-saltine or round (10 or 11 oz) 1 pack seasoning* 1 1/2 cup oil Combine the oil and seasoning together in a 2 gallon bag. Add 2 boxes of saltine crackers in the smaller size option (mini-saltines or rounds) to the bag, leaving as much air as possible. Gently toss/turn the bag to fully coat the crackers with the seasoning/oil combo.
